About LawCrust
How long has LawCrust been operating?
LawCrust began in 2016 under a different name and rebranded to LawCrust in 2018. In 2023 it was incorporated as LawCrust Global Consulting Ltd. As of 2026, the firm marks a full decade, 10+ years of practice, having served over 10,000 clients globally across the group.
Where are LawCrust offices located?
LawCrust operates from 19+ offices. The Mumbai HQ is in Bandra Kurla Complex. Other offices include Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi, Pune, Gurugram, Noida, Navi Mumbai, plus international offices in Dubai (UAE) and Dover, Delaware (USA).
Who founded LawCrust?
LawCrust describes itself as a team of entrepreneurs, lawyers, engineers, economists, and data analysts. Specific founder names are confirmed directly on consultation. The firm became a public limited company LawCrust Global Consulting Ltd, in 2023.
What does "Your Amicus at Work" mean?
Amicus is the Latin word for friend. The tagline reflects LawCrust's philosophy of being a trusted advisor, counsel that takes your interests as its own, rather than a transactional service provider.

How do I book a consultation?

How much does the first consultation cost?
Initial consultations are nominal. Most clients tell us that even the first call clarifies enough about their matter to know the path forward. Fees vary by practice area and matter complexity.
Are virtual consultations available?
Yes. We routinely conduct consultations on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp, particularly for NRI clients, where in-person meetings are impractical.
What languages do you serve clients in?
Primarily English and Hindi. Regional Indian languages Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi, are available depending on the office and practice area.
Litigation Finance
What is Litigation Finance?
Litigation Finance is a non-recourse funding model where LawCrust funds qualifying meritorious cases. You pay only when the matter resolves in your favour. Up to 90% of qualifying matters can be financed.
How does the application process work?
Four steps: (1) Application Folder, submit form and documents; (2) Risk Analysis, our legal and finance team assesses merits; (3) Pre-Approval, pay processing fee and receive terms; (4) Execution, appointed lawyers prosecute the matter.
What types of cases qualify for Litigation Finance?
Property disputes (residential and commercial), insurance claims, consumer disputes, bank fraud recovery, corporate receivables, vendor recovery, and personal lending defaults are common candidates.
Are there EMIs or interest payments during the case?
No. There are no EMIs. Repayment occurs only after successful resolution. Interest rates are subjective and depend on case complexity, anticipated duration, and counsel assessment.
NRI Legal Services
Do you serve NRI clients?
Yes NRI Legal Services is a core practice. We serve clients in the USA, UK, UAE, MENA, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe across property, family, succession, criminal, and immigration matters.
Can I handle a divorce in India while living abroad?
Yes. Divorce proceedings can be conducted via Power of Attorney for mutual-consent divorces, and through video-conferenced hearings for many contested matters. We handle the procedural complexity end-to-end.
How do I transfer property in India from abroad?
Through a registered Power of Attorney executed at the Indian Consulate in your country, apostilled where required, and re-registered in India. We coordinate this entirely on your behalf.
Can you represent me in a 498A case while I'm abroad?
Yes. We handle anticipatory bail, quashing petitions under Section 482 CrPC, and trial representation. We have substantial experience with the Supreme Court guardrails on 498A misuse.

What is the typical engagement model for businesses?
Three common models: (1) Project-based, a fixed-fee engagement for a specific transaction; (2) Retainer, an annual or quarterly fee for ongoing counsel; (3) Risk-share, particularly under our Litigation Finance and Legal Protect products.
Do you handle cross-border M&A?
Yes. We coordinate India-side execution with international counsel for cross-border transactions, particularly across the India-UAE, India-UK, India-USA, and India-Singapore corridors.
Can you assist with insolvency filings under IBC?
Yes. We represent financial creditors, operational creditors, resolution applicants, and personal guarantors across Section 7, 9, 10, and 95 proceedings, including resolution plan drafting and CoC representation.

How do I know my matter is being handled?
Every active matter has a dedicated point of contact, weekly written updates for active litigation, and on-call access. For complex multi-matter portfolios, we offer quarterly business reviews.
Is my information confidential?
Absolutely. All client information is protected by attorney-client privilege and our internal data security protocols. Document handover is via secure portals. We do not discuss matters with third parties without written consent.
